Join us the second Wednesday of each month for case-based learning and a didactic presentation from leading experts at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai

Learning objectives

 

  1. Describe strategies and tools for screening patients for behavioral health conditions and how to apply them in practice

  2. Identify ways to connect patients who need a referral to psychotherapy and/or medication management

  3. Describe evidence-based psychotherapeutic treatment strategies for treating patients with behavioral health conditions, and when they should be applied

  4. Identify effective medication management approaches for treating patients with behavioral health conditions and when they should be applied

  5. Explain presenting diagnoses and recommended treatment approaches to patients in a manner that promotes destigmatized adoption and follow up
